My Eagles are 7-2 and after a Monday night drubbing of the hapless Carolina Panthers. Now they face the daunting task of going on the road to Lambeau Field to take on the red hot Packers and Aaron Rogers. This should be a great NFC showdown. The Packers are hard to beat at home and I have my doubts about the Eagles chances, but I'm a fan and I'm going to make my prediction with my heart more than my head. Aaron Rogers will throw for 350 yards and 4TD's, however the Eagles offense and special teams will supply plenty of firepower as well and take this game on a late Cody Parkey field goal. Final Score: Eagles 34 - Packers 31
Anyone who knows me well knows that I bleed green. It has been great to watch the Eagles jump out to a 4-1 start this season. Had they been able to score from the 1 yard line in San Francisco they could be 5-0. Of course were it not for some late game magic and a bit of luck they could be 0-5. This Sunday night they have a showdown with the division rival Giants. The Giants have been playing well and this should be a great clash in primetime. I think the Ealges offense is ready to break out. The defense is improving, but banged up at linebacker and special teams has been spectacular, but will miss Brad Smith. Of course I am biased in my prediction, and I think it will be close.
Eagles 37 - Giants 31
While we all wait for the battle here is my favorite Eagles/Giants memory! Enjoy!
